Do you want to talk to the Man in charge or the Woman who knows what is going on?

Tis the season...

...the football season that is!!! Yes it is that time of year again when all the red comes out!! Yesterday was the first game of the season and we had a shindig at our place. I figured I could lure everyone out here with the game and then we could get a volleyball game together, and it worked! The utes won (even if the guys were mad about "how" they won--a win is a win in my book!)
Anita made some good mexican food, which weighed us down to play volleyball, and we had some fun!
Here is to a great season and good times for my boys!!!

Great 30th

"30"!!!
I had my 30th birthday on Saturday and I have to say that it turned out pretty good. Jon took me to lunch downtown at Macaroni Grill and then later that night I had a very fun party where we played volleyball and had food and and my favorite whip cream frosting cake.

I want to give a BIG thank you to everyone who sent birthday wishes by blog, email, texts and in person. Thank you so much for all of the wonderful gifts I received and the time you spent with me, I really appreciate it.

I am so lucky to have great family and friends who are always there for me. I hope that I can be there for all of you whenever you need me!!

Meet Baxter

Yes I know I am a crazy person!!!
Jon somehow talked me into getting his dream dog, and here he is.
Jon has been listening to pod casts of dog training and about this breed for about two weeks now. I have never seen him put so much effort into something, besides his family, ever.
He is pretty dang cute though.

Summer fun!

Yesterday we had a BBQ at our house. It was lots of fun!!! Everyone showed up and we went swimming, ate some grub and then played volleyball. I love getting a lot of people together and just having a good time!

Here is Hudson & Cannon playing some football!!

Jess & Christa (we left Marshall out because he was not very happy!!)

Angi, Eric & Jerzie (she never looks at the camera)

Here's my Grady Potatie Pants!! Walkin all over the place!

Jon just hit the ball over. Good action shot!! (Angi took this one!)

Bailey, Anita & Jen.

Kip, Debi & Sophia

Anita played with the kids the whole time. It gave the parents a break and the kids had fun playing games like london bridges and ring around the rosie.

Grady is Walking!!!

Sorry---I know I am on post overload but, today I got some good shots of Grady walking. He is taking lots of steps as long as he knows there is something to grab on to across the way.
They grow so fast!!!

County Fair

Last night we went to the Salt Lake County Fair. Hudson is getting so brave, he runs to go on all of the rides including riding a pony. Last year he didn't like the thought of doing anything "scary". This year he loves to try new things! We went with family/friends Amie, Tim, Gage & Madi. We always have fun with them and Hudson loves to have a buddy to hang with!

YEE HAW!

Grady kept saying "weeeeee..."!

Pine View

Every year we go to Pine View Reservoir. I love it because it is camping and there is also a lake so we can go swimming and beach it. Here are a few pictures that are from my mom's camera. I am an idiot and deleted the ones from my memory card before saving them anywhere (i will be beating myself up for that for a long time).

We always love it when a lot of people come with us! We had peeps from both of our families and my friend Angi & gang!

This is Hudson's cousin Cannon, they always have a good time doing boy stuff!

Jon's Parents!
Angi, Eric & Jerzie (who is having a good time!!!)

I had an awsome picture on my camera of this naked bum, but as you know it's gone forever! So we get my moms version.

I love this pic!!

These ARE my cowboy boots!!!

Hudson got all geared up in his cowboy stuff and he realized that he needed to put some cowboy boots on. I reminded him that his boots were too small but he insisted that he had other ones that fit him. He went to his room and this is what he showed up wearing. I told him that those weren't cowboy boots but he told me "these ARE my cowboy boots".

I always laughed when I was younger at those kids that wore boots with shorts and other crazy outfits, it never crossed my mind that I would end up having one of those dorky kids. But, you gotta let them be them right!?
