Random Things

About 3 weeks ago we got Grady's hair cut. Angi, my friend and our hair lady, cut it. He did really good. He sat pretty still and smiled the whole time. Jon will not let me do his hair spikey for some reason so I have to comb it down (boring!!) Hudson has always had his hair spikey and I really like it. He now is into mowhawks and I think the next haircut I will let him get a fauxhawk, as Angi calls it!!

We went to the Utah red and white game and got to go out on the field and take a few pictures. Jon is such a huge Ute fan, for the past few years they have gotten season tickets. I love that it's something that he and the boys can always do together. It also something that Jon's dad loves to do with his kids.

I just have to give a shout out to all the peeps that have had a baby or are expecting one:
Jarrett & Diane Welch just had a baby girl!!! Congrats!
Nicole & Jared Brown, congrats on the boy! Welcome to my world. Now you can have a happy medium between princesses and Monster trucks!
Amie & Tim Gallo are expecting a baby boy in September. And my cousin Erin is expecting a girl in September!
So many babies!!!!

Those are my random thoughts today! Hope you all have a great weekend!!!

Getting Started!

Holy carp, I really suck at this. I set this up 2 months ago and I haven't done anything since! So I guess I will write something today.

I think I want to start out by telling a little bit about our family.
Jon and I were married in September 2000. We first lived in an apartment but bought a house in West Jordan shortly after that. In October 2003 Hudson was born. In 2007 we bought a new townhome not too far from our old house right before Grady was born in June 2007. I work 2 days a week as a travel agent and Jon works at a dental lab. As a family we love to go camping and cannot wait for the summer so we can head up to the mountains.
That's our story and i'm stickin to it.

More recently, in March we went to Las Vegas for the Monster truck World Finals and hung out on the strip a little bit. I have boys, so I have to do a lot of boy things and that includes monster trucks. We were there for 5 days with family and it was really fun. We hung out "in the pits" and got to see all the trucks close up and get autographs from the drivers, then that night we went to the "big show". Hudson had a blast, you can consider that his Disneyland. This was our sencond year going and Jon says that we have to go every year. Jon and I need to do an adults only trip there sometime. I don't think that we are going to have more kids so I won't be able to do any girl things unless I borrow one of my friends daughters!!!!

It's crazy how fast kids grow. Grady is already going to be one in a month. I have started planning his party and it is kind of sad that the year has gone by that fast.

Well, I think that is all I got for now. I am going to try REALLY hard to keep up on this thing but I make no guarantees!
