New Year New School

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

This year Jon and I made the decision to send our kids to a private Christian School.
It has no more than 15 kids per classroom, they get to learn spanish and sign language and they keep God in the classroom.

They have to wear uniforms, which I have a hard time with since I LOVE to shop. I will have to look at it as less of a fight in the mornings!

The kids were really excited to start this new adventure.

Hudson started 3rd Grade

Grady started Kindergarten and this is a whole new thing for him.
Kindergarten is all day and it is going to be a great thing.
It is so weird that my baby is now going to school and is not so little anymore.

Had to get a picture with my big boys!
They are so handsome

Here is to a great school year!

Pine View 2012

Pine View is always my favorite trip.

Lots of:
 Family
Friends
Food
Crafts
Beachin'
&
Volleyball

It's so fun to have all of our kids running around having a great time together and I love to hang out on the beach for hours.

I would be able to take a gazillion babillion pictures but I only took a few.  Not everyone who was there will be in them but this is the gist of the trip:

This is my traditional pic I take as we are leaving

I celebrated my Birthday throughout the whole weekend!

Angi always has fun crafts and games for the kids to play

The kids wanted to take the dogs on a walk all the time
There is never a shortage of dogs

This is my other traditional photo I like to get every year
Close to sunset with the lake in the background
Thanks to everyone for a great time and an awesome birthday!
I hope to see all of you there again next year!

2nd Annual Discovery Camp out

We went camping for the 2nd annual Discovery Christian Community Camp Out an had a blast.

The kids got muddy while playing on the beach

We got to ride wave runners and also have a girls cruise out on the relaxation station

The kids got treat bags and rode their scooters and bikes around

We had church service on the beach with great worship time and hearing how Christ has done so much for people in their lives

It was a really good time with friends to have fun and fellowship

Can't wait until next year!!

Hernia

Jon noticed an unusual bulge on Grady which prompted us to take him to the Dr.  Sure enough we were old he had a hernia and we should schedule surgery.

I was happy to hear that they now have a Primary Children's Center at the Riverton hospital. We scheduled his surgery and spent the time leading up to it explaining what was going to happen.

He seemed to take the information in and when it came time to go to the hospital he was a real trooper.

He got in his hospital jammies...

They gave him some medicine to make him feel goofy and he started laughing at everything.  It was pretty funny!

The surgery went very quickly and Primary Children's was so awesome to Grady and us.
He was pretty groggy after but after a root beer icee we were ready to go home.

We thought he would be in pain and would want to lay around for the rest of the day but that was not so.  He was up and running around about a half hour after we returned home and he never once said it hurt, so he never needed pain meds.
It's crazy how resilient kids are.

He is all fixed up and doing great!
