My 25 Random Things

I know that this was something people were doing awhile ago but I have accumulated 25 random things about me. Some of you may know some of these things and others will think I am a weirdo but here goes:

1 I love Neil Diamond
2 I do not like to get my socks wet
3 I am a very slow eater
4 I love the ads in the Sunday newspaper
5 I have to eat frosty’s with a Wendy’s spoon- it just doesn’t taste the same if I don't

6 I am not a morning person
7 Mexican food is my favorite
8 I make lists for everything
9 I hold my pee for a really long time- I’ve always thought that I need to practice doing that just in case I get locked up somewhere
10 I am deathly afraid of birds
11 I love slurpees
12 I have to finish all my work before I can relax or play- This was something my mom instilled in me!
13 I am a visual learner
14 I love sleep
15 My guilty pleasure is listening to Hanson
16 I do not like onions but like onion rings
17 I have to cut a muffin into pieces- it tastes better
18 I have to sleep with a blankie
19 I do not like to take the front item when I am shopping
20 I am a very picky eater but for some reason I love mushrooms
21 I loves office supplies- Shopping, collecting and using them
22 I am very impatient
23 Dead bodies creep me out and give me nightmares for months- I will only go to viewings if it is someone I love very much
24 I really do not like practical jokes or pranks
25 I sometimes eat nachos for breakfast- I figure what is the difference between eating a greasy breakfast sandwich with a hash brown or getting nachos ( I see it as the same!!)

Jon's new truck

Jon has always wanted a big truck. So we bought my brothers Blazer that he has had for a long time. Tren decided to buy a new truck and now Jon is the proud owner of The Blaze!!

As you can see he has it all Utah Utes'd out!!

Hudson Is 6!!

Today was Hudson's 6th Birthday!

Jon & I both took work off to spend the day with him.

I was able to volunteer in his class today and take treats to the kids.

We let Huddy decide what he wanted to do so we went and ate at Arctic Circle and then we went to Boondocks Fun Center and miniature golfed, played ski ball, rode go karts and then Jon & Hudson played laser tag.

We had a party for him on Saturday and he got lots of fun stuff from everybody. Thank you to everyone who came and also for all the goods he got!

This is a picture of Hudson at school. They gave him a crown and made him stand on his desk and sang to him.

I am so glad Jon & I were able to hang with this awesome kid.

9-9-09

Today is our 9th wedding anniversary. So, today is all about the nines for us!!

This is us in December 1999 at a New Years Eve party @ Kaysee's house. We had just met a couple of months before that in October. We were engaged on April 28, 2000 and we were married on 9-9-2000.

Our crazy weekend!!

Yes! We came home from a day at the beach
We usually go camping over Labor Day weekend. This year we decided to stay home and see what there was to offer. We had a whirlwind weekend- Here is what we did!!

We came home from a day at the beach to find our house was broken into. I feel so disgusted and violated. AAAAAHHHHHH!! It makes me feel crazy and sick that someone was in my house going through our stuff!

So there was our weekend. Hope you all had wonderful 3 day weekend!! And make sure that you write the serial #'s from all of your big ticket item down and lock them with your important documents.

Last night I went to the Darius Rucker concert with Christa and we brought Grady & Marshall. He was playing at the Sandy Amphitheatre and I have to say that is a great venue. It only seats 3000 people and we sat out on the lawn with our blankets and ate our food and enjoyed some good music. He has made such a great transition into country music, you wouldn't know that he never sang country. All in all it was a good time. Thanks Christa for hanging with me!!

Here we go again!

The football season is officially upon our household! The first Utah game is tonight and I think Jon would shout for joy and do a little dance if he showed his emotions!! Jon & Hudson will be there with all their Ute bells on! So here is too a great season for the Utes and a looooong season of football in my house!

Huddy goes to school

The day has finally come. I had to let my first baby go to school today! I always wondered why parents had such a hard time letting their kids go on the first day. I always said that I would never cry when I dropped him off. Well guess who kept tearing up? Yes, it was me. Now I know what all those other parents knew. I had to let someone else be the boss (which is not easy for me!!)

Kaysee was here

Pine View

Wow! Time really just flies by! I cannot believe how long it has been since I have posted something. We have been doing some fun things this summer. One of my favorite things is our trip to Pine View Reservoir. Here are a few pictures from our 2 weekends at Anderson Cove campground
