Kelly Clarkson in the rain

We went to the Kelly Clarkson concert last week.
It ended up being a lot shorter than I expected. I thought it was a full blown concert of Kelly and then when we got there it was summerfest for Utah Valley University. They had Utah's got talent, and the final 5 contestants performed. When Kelly hit the stage she did a great job, but she only sang for about an hour and I think it was the first concert I have ever been to where there was no encore. It also rained for about 20 minutes, everyone was bundled up and had tarps to sit in. What a lovely June evening!!

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

On Friday night we went to the Bees baseball game. My dad got suite tickets from his boss so we had lots of fun with a free game, food and drinks! It went to 12 innings and by that time we didn't really care who won we just wanted it to end since it was 11:00pm! We stuck around because it was a night that they were going to do fireworks. Good Times!

Up Up and Away!

I see A LOT of kids movies and most of them are ok. But I have to tell you that I LOVED the movie UP. It is so freaking cute! Jon & I took the kids this weekend and both Hudson & Grady liked it. Grady sat through pretty much the whole thing. I highly recommend this movie to people of all ages. I loved the little old man in the most and there was even a lovable bird (I didn't even think it would peck my eyeballs out!)

First Pinewood Derby

Jon & Hudson built and raced their first Pinewood derby car. It was a Utah Utes car of course. It wasn't the fastest by far but it won best in show!

Tee Ball

Huddy started Tee ball this year. He was so cute out there on the field!!

He played on the same team as his cousin, Gage!He finished his 8 games and got his participation award!

Can't wait for next year!!

Where'd that poop come from?

Hudson was throwing a football around and he went into the kitchen and all of a sudden he yells "where'd that poop come from?"
Let's rewind....
When Jon got home from work Grady handed him a diaper. Jon showed it to me and asked "where did this come from?" I told him I didn't know. I mean diapers are all around this house so it really could have came from anywhere. ( I really thought that Jon had changed a diaper and forgot to throw it away!!)
So forward about an hour later to when Hudson yelled "where'd that poop come from?"...
...(I know what you're thinking!) but seriously it took me a minute. We thought maybe it was dog poop but then Grady started to cry and point to his lets where poop was running down his legs. That is when Jon & I looked at each other and just laughed.
We have not experienced a kid taking of his diaper yet! (Hudson was an easy baby)
It was really funny! I just had to share that with you all.
