For Jon's Birthday we went bowling!! We had lots of fun w/ his family and a few members of my family. We had cake there too!

This was Grady's first time bowling. He would run up and push the ball but was happier to run around.

Jr. Jazz

Hudson started Jr Jazz last weekend. It is his first year and he really liked playing. We got him a basketball and he practices all the time in our kitchen (since it really is the only space we have for that activity).

I have to say that I had a good laugh at watching kindergartners try and play basketball for the first time!

We took the kids to see Santa the day after Thanksgiving but I lost the picture so we had to have take 2 yesterday!!

Some random goods

I am in a totally random mood today so you are getting some random things that have been going on Jon and I finally made it to Smashburger and I will tell you that it was worth the wait. The burgers are like hand patted and they taste like the good ones you get right of of your grill. So juicy and full of goodness and the fries are AMAZING. They has what they call smash fries and they have these great spices and herbs on them. And to top it all off they have fry sauce. Oh man it was a great meal!!

Jon got sideline passes to go on the field for a Utah game so he took Huddy down with him. Hudson loves football and I am so happy Jon and him have this time to bond.

Grady absolutely loves the snow and would live outside in it if he could. This weekend we had a birthday party for his cousin and he played out on their deck in the snow. I got him this cutest elmer fud hat.

We took the kids to see Christmas Carol and I have to say that the movie was done very well. The only thing was that the ghosts scared my kids a lot. Grady kept putting his arm over his eyes and Hudson kept asking if we could leave. Once we told Hudson why the ghosts had to scare Scrooge then he was fine and it all ended up happy.

I am sooooo in the Christmas mood! So we put up a fake Christmas tree. I know I know, I said I would NEVER put a fake tree up. But this year I was too antsy to wait for my brother to cut down a fresh one. So we now are all decked out for the season and I am lovin' it.

I also got a 3' black tree w/ red lights and decorated it in Utah Utes goods.

And...

I got the Charlie Brown tree and put it at my desk and every time I look at it, it makes me VERY happy.

YAY for Christmas!

My 25 Random Things

I know that this was something people were doing awhile ago but I have accumulated 25 random things about me. Some of you may know some of these things and others will think I am a weirdo but here goes:

1 I love Neil Diamond
2 I do not like to get my socks wet
3 I am a very slow eater
4 I love the ads in the Sunday newspaper
5 I have to eat frosty’s with a Wendy’s spoon- it just doesn’t taste the same if I don't

6 I am not a morning person
7 Mexican food is my favorite
8 I make lists for everything
9 I hold my pee for a really long time- I’ve always thought that I need to practice doing that just in case I get locked up somewhere
10 I am deathly afraid of birds
11 I love slurpees
12 I have to finish all my work before I can relax or play- This was something my mom instilled in me!
13 I am a visual learner
14 I love sleep
15 My guilty pleasure is listening to Hanson
16 I do not like onions but like onion rings
17 I have to cut a muffin into pieces- it tastes better
18 I have to sleep with a blankie
19 I do not like to take the front item when I am shopping
20 I am a very picky eater but for some reason I love mushrooms
21 I loves office supplies- Shopping, collecting and using them
22 I am very impatient
23 Dead bodies creep me out and give me nightmares for months- I will only go to viewings if it is someone I love very much
24 I really do not like practical jokes or pranks
25 I sometimes eat nachos for breakfast- I figure what is the difference between eating a greasy breakfast sandwich with a hash brown or getting nachos ( I see it as the same!!)

Jon's new truck

Jon has always wanted a big truck. So we bought my brothers Blazer that he has had for a long time. Tren decided to buy a new truck and now Jon is the proud owner of The Blaze!!

As you can see he has it all Utah Utes'd out!!

Hudson Is 6!!

Today was Hudson's 6th Birthday!

Jon & I both took work off to spend the day with him.

I was able to volunteer in his class today and take treats to the kids.

We let Huddy decide what he wanted to do so we went and ate at Arctic Circle and then we went to Boondocks Fun Center and miniature golfed, played ski ball, rode go karts and then Jon & Hudson played laser tag.

We had a party for him on Saturday and he got lots of fun stuff from everybody. Thank you to everyone who came and also for all the goods he got!

I am so glad Jon & I were able to hang with this awesome kid.
